At the Asia Pacific Academic Consortium of Public Health (APACPH) conference held in Malaysia, Mustakim, a fourth-year doctoral student did an oral presentation entitled “Small for gestational age in grandmaternal smoking during pregnancy: Tohoku Medical Megabank Project Birth and Three Generation Cohort Study”. This study is the first intergenerational study that analyzes grandmaternal smoking during pregnancy and its effect on small-gestational-age data from the TMM BirThree cohort study.
